Nowadays there is a tendency to live abroad, to get married a foreigner. I have made some kind of Gallup poll and I would like to post my observation of why Russian women marry foreigners. There is a great choice of marriage agencies which offer you different guys from all over the world of all nationality.

A great deal of women in Russia has experience in making attempts for getting a husband-foreigner. However sometimes it’s just like hobby - the desire to get new pan-friends, to find out more about the culture of other countries, to learn the foreign language after all!!! So you see each of the women looking for a partner abroad does it for her own reasons. But despite of some difference in their reasons, in general they usually include the following:

1. Bad habits
What? Men from Russia don’t be shocked! As everybody knows (unfortunately it’s a fact) Russian guys are famous for their alcohol abuse. It cannot be said that there is no alcohol consumption in other countries - of course not. But they will never reach the same heights. Consumption of alcoholic drinks is one of few aspects where we have managed to catch up with America. In Russia, if your husband does not drink - he is almost an angel, only without wings; even if he has no other advantages, you are still very lucky to have a husband who does not drink. The women thank God for such happiness. Except for drinking, our men have many other lovely features - laziness, infidelity, absence of aspiration to self-development, irresponsibility - all that characteristics that are thought to be terrible by Russian women. Of course not all Russian men are so bad - but for some reason those who are exceptions to the rule are usually already married... So ladies have pretty small chance to marry someone who prefers healthy life-style.

2. The insufficient quantity of marriage-aged men in Russia
It is widely known that we have less men than ladies in our country. Statistics shows that for each 100 women there are about 97 men. That is, of each 100 women 3 are compelled to remain alone for objective reasons! Is it fair? No, and that’s why women try to arrange their private life somewhere abroad. If we consider statistics for regions and for age groups, the picture looks even worse. Men die earlier, and some at a young age. Men are more inclined to have serious diseases, most of which are heart problems. As a result in cities at least one of ten women who is older than 35 can’t not find a marriage partner – because of purely objective reasons of demographic character.

3. The economical crisis of modern Russia
There is no doubt that our standard of life is different from the western, and, unfortunately, not for the better. Women from Russia want to be happy, well-being. They should think about the future of their children. So many women are sure that in Russia is impossible to plan anything for the future.

Sounds sad? Unfortunately… So Guys, if you hear the women just make something to improve the situation. Dear Russian women! Nobody can accuse you of looking for an easy life. It is completely NORMAL - to want a good life. Do you know the song of Dido – she sings: I won’t put up hands and surrender! So go ahead! It is abnormal to put up with plain vegetation. You do not have to remain lonely or to connect your life with someone that does not deserve it. You do not "betray" your native land when looking for a husband abroad. Each person has the right to happiness and an enjoyable life. Besides, marriages with Russian women are very popular nowadays.

Russian ladies! Before you go cutting and pasting, you really need to ask yourself if the search for a foreign wife is for you. Do you have ample disposable income and savings? More importantly, do you have time to conduct a search, travel to meet men who would like to meet you? Are you emotionally stable to the point where you can remain rational when faced with fairly difficult situations (not seeing the person you want to be with for months)? If you are ready – then good luck!
